Chronic Illness

Whether you're living with a chronic condition, adjusting to a new diagnosis, or looking to reduce your risk of future illness, nutrition can play a meaningful role in managing symptoms, supporting your body's needs, and protecting your long-term health.

Why nutrition matters.

Health is shaped by many factors, including genetics, environment, nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress. While not every risk can be changed, nutrition and lifestyle habits can help support many of the functions including metabolic and cardiovascular health, digestive function, and immune health.

For those living with illness, nutrition support can also address nutritional deficiencies, symptom management, and support the body through treatment and recovery.

Realistic, sustainable changes can make nutrition a meaningful part of care, at every stage of life and alongside your medical team.

Medical nutrition therapy.

As a Registered Dietitian, I provide individualized medical nutrition therapy based on each patient's medical history, diagnosis, laboratory results, symptoms, and treatment goals. Care is grounded in evidence-based nutrition practice and tailored to support disease prevention, chronic disease management, and overall health.

When clinically indicated, services include laboratory review and functional testing to inform nutrition interventions. With the patient's consent, I coordinate with physicians and other members of the care team to align nutrition recommendations with the patient's medical treatment plan.
